Student Visa

Visa Requirements — Subclass 500

To study in Australia you must hold a valid Student Visa (Subclass 500). Here's everything you need — eligibility, required documents, and the full application process.

Valid passport — at least 6 months beyond your study period
Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) from Amtech Institute
Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) certificate
Genuine Student Statement (GST)
English proficiency — IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE Academic
Academic transcripts, certificates, and diplomas
Employment history documentation
Financial documents — bank statements and proof of income

Application Process

Receive Your Offer & CoE
Accept your offer from Amtech Institute and receive your Confirmation of Enrolment document.

Arrange OSHC
Purchase Overseas Student Health Cover for the full duration of your visa before applying.

Prepare Your Documents
Gather all required supporting documents as listed in the checklist.

Submit Online via ImmiAccount
Apply through the Department of Home Affairs portal. Visa application fee: AUD 2,000 (unless exempt).

OSHC is mandatory for all international students and must be arranged before arriving in Australia. It covers essential medical expenses for the full duration of your visa.
