Applying as a Domestic Student
Australian citizens, permanent residents, and New Zealand citizens can apply directly online. Complete the application form, upload your documents, and our team will review your submission promptly.

Education Agent
Applying on Behalf of a Student
Registered Amtech education agents can submit applications directly through the Agent Portal. Log in with your agent credentials to access application forms, track submissions, and manage your students.

Submit your student's application and upload all required supporting documents through the portal.

Track the application status in real time and receive the Letter of Offer directly through your portal account.

Checklist

Before You Apply

Make sure you have everything ready before submitting. Incomplete applications will not be assessed and may delay your offer.

Eligibility
  • Confirmed you meet the academic entry requirements for your chosen programme
  • Hold a valid English language test result (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE or equivalent)
  • Reviewed minimum GPA requirements for MIT, GDIT, or GCIT
Academic Documents
  • Official academic transcripts from all institutions attended
  • Certified copies of all degree and diploma certificates
  • Certified NAATI translations for any non-English documents
Identity & Visa
  • Certified copy of passport (bio-data page, valid for duration of study)
  • Current visa or immigration status documents (if applicable)
Supporting Documents
  • Statement of Purpose (500–800 words)
  • Current CV or résumé in English
  • Two reference letters (academic or professional)
Financial Evidence
  • Recent bank statements (last 3 months) showing sufficient funds
  • Or a valid sponsorship letter with financial evidence
  • Application fee of AUD 500 (payment details on form)
Work Experience (if applicable)
  • Employment reference letters or contracts on letterhead
  • Required for MIT alternative entry (2+ years IT experience)
  • RPL applicants: prior unit outlines and work portfolios

After Submission

What Happens Next

Once we receive your complete application and payment, here's the typical timeline to enrolment.

Application Received
We'll send an acknowledgement email within 1–2 business days confirming receipt and your application reference number.
1–2 Days

Assessment
Our admissions team reviews your academic qualifications, English proficiency, and supporting documents for eligibility.
5–10 Days
03
Letter of Offer
Eligible applicants receive a Letter of Offer. Review and sign the Acceptance of Offer form and pay your tuition deposit.
After Assessment
04
CoE & Visa
Once your deposit is received, your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) is issued — enabling you to lodge your Student Visa (subclass 500).
